		<description>"I get the message:

“The SPKService service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do . . . .”

I have Norton Internet Security. Could that be stopping it?

Thanks.

Len"

Hi Len,

I'm not sure what's causing the service to stop here - I'll try to duplicate the issue and look into it. A quick question - do you notice the processes you've configured in the XML being shut down?

Thanks

		<description>Hi.

Thanks for your dev efforts! I'll sure try this killer app, man! Have ever heard about AnVir? Take a look at it (a pity it doesn't work as service nor does it have any sys drive...): http://anvir.com

As another suggestion, I guess you'll love Surun, here: http://forum.kay-bruns.de/ (admin tool).

http://sourceforge.net/projects/allchars (must-have free text autocompletion tool)

Warm regards,

MCHAL

		<description>Hi Victor,

Its really easy - just add/remove service and process names between the ServiceNames and ProcessNames in the SPKPreferences.xml file. The 'CycleTime' is in milliseconds and sets the time interval for how often you want SPKiller to scan the system and shut down the processes and services you've specified.
You can always post here if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them
